Helen David’s 37 Seasons 2024
Represented by FeelSales for International Sales
When Helen David first founded her fashion label, English Eccentrics, in the early 80s, she was living in a Brixton Squat and selling her designs from a market stall in Camden. By the mid-90s, she was dressing stars like Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Prince, Helen Mirren and Helena Bonham-Carter. Then, at the turn of the millennium, during the height of her success, her brand unexpectedly collapsed. Twenty years later, her son – filmmaker Oliver David – investigates what happened. Looking through her life’s work, he traces her creative journey, through meteoric success and devastating failure, and discovers how she reinvented herself after losing everything.

The Faithful 2021
Premiered at Camden Film Festival 2021
The Faithful is a feature-length film exploring the enduring phenomenon of three global icons: Elvis Presley, Pope John Paul II, and Princess Diana. Launched by the discovery of a Pope lollipop for sale at the Vatican, the filmmaker embarks on what will become an obsessive 20-year journey to the annual memorials of these icons documenting the rites and rituals of their followers, in this meditation on fans, faith, and image. From the dawn of a new millennium to well into our digital era, the film traces our complex relation to the photographic image and the ownership of icons.

His obsession reaches a boiling point when fantasy materializes in reality and Jack sees Scarlet on a rainy street in NYC Chinatown.
